Because my older son was potty-training at the time, I picked up a few one-size Bum Genius diapers, and put the liner directly against his skin, for wetness awareness. Worked like a charm. I was excited for my second little peanut to be able to use them too. Though perhaps not quite as environmentally friendly, they were certainly cost-effective. A dozen Bum Genius, and baby E is easily set.
One minor thing. Baby E had a handful of Fuzzi Bunz, as well. Many parents swear by them, because the cotton lining is incredibly soft and the diaper is quite absorbent. But for my skinny-legged kid, only occasionally do the FBs fit him properly. They’re adorable for daytime wear, but for night I turned to the Bum Genius.
The conundrum here came completely with aesthetics, then. Fuzzi Bunz come in an array of colors. One of my favorite customers said to me, “I wish the Bum Genius were this cute! I love the Fuzzi Bunz colors!” I could sympathize. My favorite BG colors are Butternut and Grasshopper. Or, at least, they were. Until now!

I love love love the new Bum Genius colors. When I saw them I honestly had to stop myself from loading up my arms with them. I mean, how many one-sized cloth diapers does this kid need, really?! So I settled on Ribbit and Clementine...for now. But they’re just...so...pretty.
Who cares that they’re simply colorful poop catchers?! They're adorable. The Bum Genius One-Sized Cloth Diapers were one of my favorite baby goodies. Read about this and others in the Baby Picks blog.
