Part 1 of the recall affects the following items:
- 0972 Lucy Clutching Toy ´
- 0973 Little Heart Clutching Toy
- 0920 Clutching Toy Belinda
- 2268 Triolino Puzzle
- 0951 Miro
- 1037 Bunny Pacifier Chain
- 1048 Pacifier Chain Bear
There is also a second part of the recall, a "just in case" recall of items similar to the ones that have had problems. These items, Haba reports in it's letter to consumers, are being recalled even though,
...to date, there have been no injuries, incidents or product failures associated with these toys. The decision is made out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of our consumer's children.We're sad to see this news coming from a company with such a wonderful line of toys and a historically great safety record. But we do appreciate their being proactive about alerting consumers and voluntarily removing the toys from the marketplace.
